Cute PDF "print to PDF" freeware
You can download CutePDF for free, HERE.
Once you download... creating a PDF is easy as 1...2...3...
  1. Install the program per the download instructions.
  2. Open the document you wish to save as a PDF.
  3. Go to FILE, then PRINT and Choose "Cutewriter" from your printer list. Instead of printing a file, it will prompt you for the name of the PDF you wish to create.

Notes for saving the perfect PDF:
  • If your file is going to be printed in black and white or one color, create your file in black and white.
  • If your file is going to be in color, make sure the pictures are CMYK not RGB, and use the highest setting your camera allows for resolution.
  • Inner margins should be at least TWICE the size of your outer margins to make sure you have enough room to fold your brochure. Check your folds carefully!
  • If you are using CuteWriter, be sure in your print dialog box that you select to "download soft fonts" in the ADVANCED tab and not "substitute". You want to include ALL fonts with your PDF.
